Historia Blur del Arte Salvadoreño, es una investigación de varios años en la que me he enfocado en investigar sobre el arte salvadoreño desde distintos ángulos de registro histórico. Originalmente el proyecto nació con una pieza que lleva el mismo nombre de esta serie y que partía de la recopilación de las paginas de sociales sobre eventos artísticos registrados en una revista editada por La Prensa Gráfica de El Salvador. Mis intereses en conocer sobre el arte salvadoreño fueron avanzando cuando conocí el trabajo de la Galería Laberinto realizado durante la Guerra Civil Salvadoreña de los años 80 y luego el periodo de posguerra hasta la actualidad a travez de testimonios que buscan esclarecer la dinámica del mundo cultural salvadoreño y sus contradicciones de clase, producción y difusión desde la perspectiva de distintos actores culturales. 

Esta serie no pretende ser una investigación histórica per se; ya que no soy historiador, mi único interés es registrar y rescatar a travez del audio, texto e imágenes, todas aquellas historias del pasado que son parte del patrimonio cultural salvadoreño, transmitido a travez de anécdotas, opiniones y notas de periódicos. 

Salvadoran Blur Art History is a multi-year investigation in which I have focused on investigating Salvadoran art from different angles of historical record. Originally the project was born with a piece that bears the same name as this series and was based on the compilation of social pages about artistic events recorded in a magazine published by La Prensa Gráfica of El Salvador. My interests in learning about Salvadoran art advanced when I learned about the work of the Laberinto Gallery carried out during the Salvadoran Civil War of the 80s and then the post-war period until today through testimonies that seek to clarify the dynamics of the Salvadoran cultural world. Their contradictions of class, production and dissemination from the perspective of different cultural actors.

This series is not intended to be a historical investigation per se; Since I am not a historian, my only interest is to record and rescue, through audio, text and images, all those stories from the past that are part of the Salvadoran cultural heritage, transmitted through anecdotes, opinions and newspaper articles.
